There's a lot of debate around the Law of Attraction presently. The gigantic hit movie/book The Secret took the populace by storm. Because Oprah sprang on board, the entire country got acquainted with the Law of Attraction and the secrets of manifestation. The Secret did a superior job of presenting the law and exposing to us how we commonly work against ourselves. Even so, many people were left groping "how exactly do I practice the law of attraction?"

There are three major elements in discovering how to apply this potent law to manifest the material pleasures that we desire in our lives. First of all is our thoughts. The things that we imagine and hold unceasingly in our psyche become part of our reality. Even so, a large percentage of us are holding negative ideas in our heads on an every day basis. How do we alter that?

We need to begin watching our thoughts. The easiest way to do this is to note how we are feeling. When we are feeling good, we are thinking thoughts that are affirming the things that we want in our life and sending positive manifestation energy out into the universe. When we are feeling bad, that is a red flag that we are holding thoughts that are not in our best interest.

This takes us to the second all-important component, our emotions. Emotions, which are touched off by the thoughts we're presently thinking, are the actual energy that give an intention (or thought) the force to manifest. By observing when we're feeling out of sorts then shifting our thought, we'll set about modifying the overall energy encircling us. When we get more in focus on thinking affirmative, prospering thoughts, we'll visualize the universe about us shift to adapt to our new perceptions of ourselves. In this way of life will our objectives begin to manifest.

The third and concluding component in the process of attraction is our potentiality to take action once a circumstance is given. In numerous instances, our manifestations will take place as opportunities. If we work at manifesting riches, there may be an unforeseen business opportunity provided to us. If we pursue that, we'll do well. If we don't follow up on it, we'll receive nothing. So we must be prepared to act upon any opportunities that are delivered to us for our manifestations.

Finally, once we are done sending our intentions out into the world, we must be patient and detached. Don't focus endlessly on whether or not this will work, how long it will take, or any other doubtful thoughts. This kind of thinking destroys the work that we have done, and further instills more doubt. On the other hand, a patient, detached approach will allow our intentions to manifest, and will instill further faith in the process, which will assist things in moving faster next time. No wonder opinions about the Law of Attraction are very divisive!
